Hopewell Patriot Event Your are invited to Preparing America’s Patriots Scout Event on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. This event is free of charge with RSVP.
The “Preparing America’s Patriots” fundraiser for Hopewell District (Warren County, Middletown & Monroe) recognizes individuals in our communities of outstanding character or those who embody the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This fundraiser is designed to support the at- risk youth in the Hopewell District and increase scouting awareness. Contributions will support the scouting programs in Hopewell District, provide outreach services for those at-risk youths and continue to improve our communities through our service learning projects.
Patriots Location: Great Wolf Lodge June 11, 2019 6:30-8:30pm, dinner and awards Patriots Honoree(s): Community Leaders: Charles and Ellen Rittgers- founders of Rittgers & Rittgers Law Firm.
We have a guest Speaker Perry Thacker Baseball Coordinator 1869 Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum. (see short bio)
Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum “Storyteller” Perry Thacker. In his current position for the HOF, Perry works as the Baseball Coordinator. This involves many pieces from fund raising, team memberships, Opening Day Parade, the 150^th Celebration, and coordinating all the activities of the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings Vintage Baseball Team. With his own unique, humorous way, Perry will share a few of his favorite baseball stories and answer questions. If you know Perry, then you know his passion for the Reds, the HOF, and the great game of baseball.

Advancements and Eagle Projects Scouts needing a Board Of Review for Rank Advancements contact should contact our Advancement Chair, Mr. Kevin Owen. Before scheduling your Board of Review, please request your TroopMaster records from Mrs. Lyons at ( , or Mr. Goodrich at ( , so that we can confirm all rank advancement requirements have been met. If you have merit badge award questions, please see Mrs. Ponstingle.

Troop Reimbursements As a reminder, if you have any purchases on behalf of a patrol or the troop for an event (i.e. food for a patrol, reserving a campsite), the deadline to request reimbursement is one month after the end of the event.
