It’s Re-Charter Time! 
Please read the re-charter letters thoroughly.  Page 2 should be completed and submitted along with payment to Mr. Goodrich or Mr. Washington.  All recharter paperwork and payments are due no later than11/16/17.  All scouts who submit their recharter paperwork and payments on or before 11/9/17 will be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift card.  If you do not plan to recharter, please let Mr. Goodrich know ASAP.

Merit Badge Challenge
Merit Badge Challenge 2018 – Registration Is Open!  This is a perfect opportunity for Scouts to earn additional merit badges!
Cost: Only $15 per Scout (Includes a Merit Badge Challenge Patch!)

Next Outing
Our next campout/outing is the annual Big Al’s Turkey Campout at Ft. Ancient!  Last Call for Big Al’s Turkey Campout at Ft. Ancient November 17-19. If you have not yet signed up and want to go, either for the entire weekend or for just Saturday, please contact our Treasurer, Mark Washington, at mwashington3@cinci.rr.com. Cost is $30 for the entire weekend, $20 for just Saturday (includes Lunch and Dinner!).   We need to submit headcount numbers so don’t delay!
Fall Backpacking

Backpacking trip this weekend is to East Fork. We’ll be doing 16 miles over 2 days. Open to 2nd year and above. Cost is $10, please bring cash when we leave. We’ll be meeting at the church at 8:00 am on Saturday.  Should return around noon on Sunday. If you are going, make sure you have waterproof boots as the trail is known to be wet with several stream crossings. Plan to bring 4-5 liters of water as the water source at the campsite has been turned off for the season. Final sign up is Thursday, see Mr. Vieux or Mr. Kehl with questions.

Our December backpacking trip will be at Red River Gorge, December 2nd through 3rd. See Mr. Hayes for more information.

Life To Eagle Seminar
December 7th – please join us at our meeting December 7th for a Life to Eagle Seminar presentation.  Representatives from the Eagle Scout Association will be presenting the top information that you need to progress to Eagle.  This will include project guidelines, project ideas, paperwork tips, project management, and more.  7:00pm-8:30pm  Please come with your questions, concerns, and grand plans!  See Matt Scherocmanmatt@scherocman.com if you would like the information, but cannot attend that evening.
Advancements and Eagle Projects
Scouts needing a Board Of Review should contact our Advancement Chair, Mrs. Enouen at denouen@zoomtown.com.  Before scheduling your Board of Review, please request your TroopMaster records from Mrs. Lyons at lyonsacl@outlook.com , or Mr. Matt Goodrich at hoozierjoe@icloud.com,  so that we can confirm all rank advancement requirements have been met.
