PLC This Week!!!
If you are part of PLC or current Troop leadership team, please plan on PLC meeting this week, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Please contact your SPL if you can’t make it.
This Week’s Meeting Theme
This week’s meeting will be our Halloween themed game night! Please plan appropriately. Costumes (scout appropriate) are welcome, as well as class B uniforms. Please come to enjoy a fun evening of games!
It’s Re-Charter Time!
Mr. Goodrich will have recharter packets available for pick-up at Thursday’s meeting. Parents and scouts, please pick these up from Mr. Goodrich on Thursday if at all possible as this helps save on postage costs. If not picked up on Thursday the packets will be mailed.
Please read the re-charter letters thoroughly. Page 2 should be completed and submitted along with payment to Mr. Goodrich or Mr. Washington. All recharter paperwork and payments are due no later than 11/16/17. All scouts who submit their recharter paperwork and payments on or before 11/9/17 will be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift card. If you do not plan to recharter, please let Mr. Goodrich know ASAP.

Life To Eagle Seminar
On October 26 at 6:30 pm there will be a seminar to help clear up any confusion that Scouts, Parents and Leaders might have about the process of earning Eagle. Topics covered include: “How to pick an Eagle Project and what makes a good Eagle Project”, “Skills for how to lead your Eagle Project.”, “Project Workbook and the Eagle Rank Application.” This website, http://www.danbeard.org/
Troop Spirit Wear
Troop 750’s Fall Spirit Wear is underway. Orders can be placed by following this link: https://www.fridaythreads.com/store/troop-750-spiritwear-2017
In addition to our typical troop t-shirts and sweatshirts, scouts and scouters can also order fleece jackets, pull-overs, hats, sweat pants, hooded jackets, back packs and messenger bags. All orders must be submitted by 11/5/17. Don’t miss out!
Merit Badge Challenge
Merit Badge Challenge 2018 – Registration Opens 10/21 at 7:00 pm. This is a perfect opportunity for Scouts to earn additional merit badges!
- Cost: Only $15 per Scout (Includes a Merit Badge Challenge Patch!)
- Sycamore Site: February 3, February 10, February 24. Snow Date: March 17
- Located in Montgomery, OH at Sycamore High School
Our next campout/outing is the annual Big Al’s Turkey Campout at Ft. Ancient! More details to follow!

Fall Backpacking Schedule
The schedule has been posted for the troop backpacking program this fall. All hikes are open to scouts second year and above. The dates are set but times are subject to change. See Gary Hayes or Ben Zumkehr to sign up.

Advancements and Eagle Projects
Scouts needing a Board Of Review should contact our Advancement Chair, Mrs. Enouen at email@example.com. Before scheduling your Board of Review, please request your TroopMaster records from Mrs. Lyons at firstname.lastname@example.org , or Mr. Matt Goodrich at email@example.com, so that we can confirm all rank advancement requirements have been met.
