This Week’s Meeting Theme
This week’s meeting will be all about orienteering! Come to the meeting to learn about this important skill!
NO PLC THIS WEEK!
Because we will be conducting TLT and Troop Planning this coming Saturday (see below), there is no PLC this week. We will resume PLC next month. Please note, PLC is always the LAST THURSDAY of the month, unless there is no meeting that Thursday, then it’s the previous Thursday. 5:30-6:30 PM.
Attention New Troop Leadership!!!
TLT (Troop Leadership Training) and Planning is scheduled for Saturday, September 2nd, from 8:00-12:30, at HPC in rooms 14/15 (the rooms usually occupied by committee on Thursday meetings). All new leadership must attend. If you cannot make it, please notify your SPL, Chris Radle to let him know.
Next Outing
Our next campout/outing is Torrent Falls Rock Climbing! Unfortunately, we had to shift the campout a week due to climbing availability so our campout for September is 9/22-9/24. Right around the corner from that campout will be our Fall Camporee 10/6-10/8. Our last campout of 2017 will be Big Al’s Turkey Campout the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Sign-ups have started for our Rock Climbing campout. Sign-up sheets are at the meetings!
Sea Base 2018 – High Adventure
Communication about the Sea Base trip is being handled by Greg Peischl & Dan Clabbers. If you have signed up for Sea Base and have not received the email (reminder email on 8/27), please contact Greg Peischl atpeischlg@yahoo.com or by text to 513-780-6608. The first Sea Base payment is due Sept 7th or 14th.
Advancements and Eagle Projects
Scouts needing a Board Of Review should contact our Advancement Chair, Mrs. Enouen at denouen@zoomtown.com. Before scheduling your Board of Review, please request your TroopMaster records from Mrs. Lyons atlyonsacl@outlook.com , or Mrs. Peischl at gpeischl@cinci.rr.com, so that we can confirm all rank advancement requirements have been met.
