This Week’s Meeting Theme
This week’s meeting will again be held outdoors. Please plan appropriately for the weather (class B uniforms only/T-Shirt and shorts). Tonight’s theme is all about water and boating safety, and information on canoes. Since we will be outdoors, we also recommend bringing a water bottle (full).
Next Outing
This month we are canoeing/kayaking July 21-23rd. Campout will be held at Greenacres Canoe and Kayak out of Harrison, OH and cost is $45. Note: To kayak or canoe in a single person vessel, you must be registered with the troop with a recent swim test (yes, we warned you!). If you are not a swimmer and want to attend, you must be in a kayak or canoe with an adult swimmer.
Are you part of our next leadership team?
Troop elections are coming the first week of August. Please come to that meeting if you want a troop leadership position for the next six months. If you would like to be our next Senior Patrol Leader, please see Mr. Gormly no later than the last Thursday of this month (at the July 27th meeting).
