May Backpacking Trip
Our May backpacking trip will be to Carter Caves State Park in Kentucky. Meet at the church at 5pm on Friday the 18th and expect to get back around 1pm on Sunday the 20th. Cost is $10 payable to Mark Washington. This trip is open to all scouts who are second year or above. See Mr. Zumkehr for more information.

Summer Camp June 24-July 1
The second payment of $145 was due last Thursday, May 10th. Payments should be given to Mark Washington.

Summer Camp Medical Forms with a doctor’s signature and a copy of both sides of insurance card, are due to Mrs. Hilbert by the May 31 meeting. That is in 2 weeks. Make those doctor appointments today!

COPE, Cowboy Action, Early Release, Diet Request and Scuba forms are due to me by May 31st. All forms can be found at under Camp Friedlander forms.

A reminder that merit badge schedules were distributed two weeks ago. I highlighted badges that have pre-requisites. Make sure you review those requirements and start your pre-work. Get blue cards from Mr. Gormly and check the troop website for a list of merit badge counselors. If you have questions about pre-work or need help connecting with a counselor, come see me.

Swim Test has been rescheduled for June 10 from 2-4 at the Mason Community Center. This is the last opportunity to get swim checks done before camp. If you cannot make this test, please contact Mr. Vieux to discuss options.

Mason Memorial Day Parade
The Mason Memorial Day Parade is Monday May 28. The troop will march in the parade. Please plan to attend.

Advancements and Eagle Projects
