Mulch Sale and Delivery
Great job to all the scout who knocked on doors and sold mulch.  The average bags sold per scout was higher than last year so great job!

April 28th is our delivery day.  Time to deliver those bags.  We need all scouts and parents to participate.  The more people helping with delivery, the faster we can get the job done.  Remember, there are three ways to earn money into your scout account on delivery day.

1.  Total hours the scout works on delivery day.
2.  Scout earns $50 towards next year’s scout dues if the scout and parent each work a minimum of 8 hours during delivery day.
3.  Scout will earn a bonus for each additional hours worked over the 8 hour minimum.
Additional needs for delivery day (Contact Gary Hayes 248-766-3238)

* One driver needed for a 26 foot rental truck.
* Pick-up trucks and trailers needed for delivery day.
Delivery day details will be sent next week and covered at 4/26/18 Trop meeting.

Swim Checks
If you are signed up for an Aquatics merit badge for summer camp, want to do Aquatics at camp during Open Activities or want to participate in any Aquatics troop activities like canoe/kayak camping, you must complete the BSA Swim Test. The next date is tentatively set for April 29 from 2-3 at the Mason Community Center.  This may be the last opportunity to do the check before summer camp. If you intend to come that day, please sign up on the sheet at the troop meeting. We will confirm this date based on responses.

Troop Backpacking
April 21-22.  First backpacking trip for second year scouts and above. Goats and Thunder Wolves, this is your chance to get out on the trail with us.  Shorter distance will be chosen for first time backpackers and a more challenging rout for experienced backpackers will be available.  Cost is $10 payable to Mr. Washington. See Mr. Zumkehr at the meeting for more information. If this will be your first backpacking trip with the troop, please bring your pack to the meeting for a shakedown.
