Merit Badge Challenge
Merit Badge Challenge 2018 is here! This is a perfect opportunity for Scouts to earn additional merit badges! February 3, February 10, February 24. Snow Date: March 17

It’s a New Year! Recruitment is in the air!
Who better to promote Troop 750 than our own scouts & scouters! During the month of January, bring a friend to visit during the meeting and Mr. Schuessler will reward you and your friend with a cold, refreshing Ale-8 to enjoy! Bring your friends and let them experience the fun and fellowship of being a part of Troop 750!
Troop Elections are right around the corner. If you are interested in being our next SPL, we need to hear from you no later than end of meeting January 25th. Elections are February 1 so it’s a don’t miss meeting if you want a troop position for the next six months.
Meeting Next Week at Mason High School Small Commons!
We will not be able to meet at Heritage Church Gym next week, January 25th. We will be moving that meeting only to Mason High School Small Commons. Next week is also PLC week, so for those of you in PLC, please go to the Mason High School Small Commons at 5:30 PM for PLC. It will be the last PLC for outgoing troop leadership.
Our next outing is the annual BSA 101 Campout. Look for more information soon, as well as our annual Troop Gear Day/Clean-up.
Donate Your Used Shoes
Troop 750 and Heritage Presbyterian Church are partnering again this year to participate in Dan Beard Council’s Council-wide Good Turn Project by collecting used shoes. The shoes will then be given to Soles4Soles, a non-profit group dedicated to “Wearing out Poverty” by distributing your old shoes to people in need.
We will be accepting your old shoes at our Troop meetings thru February 8th and at our Scout Sunday Service on February 4th. Please rubber-band the shoes together/tie the laces together and place them in the collection box. There will be a box at the front table at each Troop meeting and in the Atrium during Scout Sunday.
Advancements and Eagle Projects
Scouts needing a Board Of Review should contact our Advancement Chair, Mrs. Enouen at firstname.lastname@example.org. Before scheduling your Board of Review, please request your TroopMaster records from Mrs. Lyons at email@example.com , or Mr. Matt Goodrich at firstname.lastname@example.org, so that we can confirm all rank advancement requirements have been met.
Scouts needing to schedule time with the Troop Committee for Eagle Scout Project Approval should contact Mr. Goodrich at email@example.com.
